However, visiting during the monsoon season (July-August) can be risky due to frequent landslides and heavy rains. The winter months (October-April) are also not recommended as the region experiences heavy snowfall, making it impossible to trek and access the temple.
Therefore, the ideal time to visit Kedarnath is from May to June and from September to October, when the weather is balmy and the vegetation is lush, adding to the natural beauty of the place.
