This schedule outlines a typical day in a yoga retreat, starting with a morning bell at 6:00 am.
Participants then engage in Hatha Yoga from 6:30-7:30 am, followed by Pranayama from 7:30-8:30 am. Breakfast is served from 9:00-10:00 am, with a focus on Sattvick foods which promote purity and positivity. The remainder of the morning (11:00 am-1:00 pm) is dedicated to visiting holy temples, waterfall trekking, and cave exploration. A vegetarian lunch is served from 1:30-2:15 pm, after which participants engage in Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow Yoga from 4:00-5:30 pm. The evening session features mantra chanting from 5:30-7:00 pm, followed by dinner from 7:30-8:30 pm.
Participants are encouraged to wind down by 10:00 pm, at which point the lights are turned off. Overall, this schedule promotes a balanced and serene day focused on physical and spiritual wellness.
Arrival in Rishikesh and check-in at the hotel, followed by an evening yoga session.
After breakfast, embark on a trek to Neer Garh Waterfall, which involves a moderate level hike. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the waterfall before heading back to the hotel for an evening yoga session.
Begin the day with an early morning yoga session followed by breakfast. Later, embark on a day trek to the Kunjapuri Temple, which offers stunning views of the Himalayas. Head back to the hotel for an evening yoga session.
In the morning, indulge in a yoga and meditation session and have breakfast before departing for a day trek to the Patna Waterfall. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst nature before returning to the hotel for an evening yoga session.
After breakfast, take part in a yoga class followed by a rafting trip on the Ganges River. Return to the hotel for an evening yoga session.
Enjoy a morning yoga session before departing for a day trip to the Rajaji National Park. Return to the hotel in the evening for a final yoga session.
After a final morning yoga class and breakfast, check-out of the hotel and depart for onward travel.
